
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) – The suspect in a shots fired incident in Franklin on Friday has been arrested, according to police.
Charles Crain, 32, of Franklin, has been charged with attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault. The charges stem from a shooting in a vape shop’s parking lot.
Just before 9 p.m. on Friday at the Vape World store on W. Main Street, investigators with the Franklin Police Department were called after a fight happened between two men in the parking lot.

During the fight, one of the men used a firearm, according to FPD. The man who was shot at was not injured, police said.
Police said the suspected gunman was described as a white male with some facial hair and multiple tattoos. He was last seen wearing black shorts, a hat and a tank top. Police said he left the business in what’s believed to be a dark-colored car.
“Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to contact the Franklin Police Department at (615) 794-2513,” Police said. “Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Williamson County here, or by contacting the organization at (615) 794-4000. If the information leads to an arrest, Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 in reward money.”
