MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone burglarized a smoke shop in Montclair last week, authorities say.

The Montclair Police Department released the following details about the incident, which took place on Valley Road on June 4:

“Officers responded to Montclair Smoke Shop on an activated alarm. Responding officers discovered an open rear door that showed signs that it had been forced open. A check of the interior of the shop revealed multiple shelves had been disturbed. Surveillance video shows a single suspect approaching the rear door and throwing a rock through the window of the door. The suspect was seen on video inside removing multiple vapes and pods from the shelves. The suspect fled after being inside for approximately one minute.”

The suspect was wearing all black clothing, a black mask and gloves, police said.
