HURON COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged after reports that he was soliciting sex from underage girls in exchange for vapes and alcohol.
According to a release from the Huron County Sheriff’s Office, 39-year-old delivery driver Travis Brown used his position and social media to contact underage girls and offer them “contraband” in exchange for sexual activity.

With coordination with the Human Trafficking Task Force based in Lorain, Brown was arrested in Monroeville after traveling from Huron, believing he was going to meet a 12-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl.
Brown told the undercover detective posing as the girls that he intended to have sex with them in the back of his SUV, according to the release.
When detectives arrested Brown, they found a makeshift bed and linens prepared in the SUV.
Brown was booked into the Huron County Jail on felony charges of importuning and compelling prostitution, and additional charges are expected.
“Brown was actively targeting and attempting to exploit young girls in Huron County and surrounding jurisdictions. Our investigators acted quickly to intercept him. Now that he’s in custody, our focus shifts to identifying any past victims.”
The case remains under investigation, according to the release.
